Have students think of things they dream of doing, but are maybe too nervous to try. They can draw a picture, or write it in the dream bubble, then draw/color the frog to look like themselves.
After reading "Little Frog, Big Jump" talk about the ways Little Frog prepared himself to do something that was scary for him. Have the students choose something that is scary for them to try and come up with 3 things they can do to help them "jump!"
Little Frog confided in his friend, who encouraged and helped Little Frog make the jump. Have students identify a friend they can trust to encourage them when they are afraid. They can write the name on the back, or just keep it to themselves! Then color the picture.
